One of the greatest joys of woodworking is starting with a piece of rough-sawn lumber and carefully transforming it into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that someone will cherish for years to come.

We don’t have a production shop. We don’t have large commercial machinery. Heck, we don’t even have employees. Everything we sell is handcrafted by Mike—from selecting each piece of lumber to applying the final finish. Of course, Mike couldn’t do it all alone. Thankfully, his wife, Mary Jo, is not only his partner in life but also the glue that holds every aspect of Catskill Mountain Woodworking together.

Married for over 35 years, Mike and Mary Jo have a bond so strong they can finish each other’s thoughts. Their ability to work together seamlessly is what makes Catskill Mountain Woodworking a truly special business.
